The City
Berlin is capital city of Germany with splendid textured history and, known as second most populous urban area in the European Union, located northern eastern Germany on the banks of Spree and Havel rivers and centre of Berlin-Brandenburg Metropolitan Region by temperate seasonal climate. About one-third of city composed of incredible beauty in its forests, rivers, and historical sites, rivers, canals and lakes. It is almost as lively at night as it is during the day and it has a unique, exciting atmosphere, which provides the visitor with a truly unforgettable experience.
Berlin is Germany’s most important key features for health care for fastest growing economic sectors worldwide. The city is cluster of related companies and associations that includes 280 Medical Technology companies, 260 biotech and Pharma companies, with 130 clinics and 20+ large Research centres specialising in Health care and life sciences.
Historically, 40 Nobel Prize winners are affiliated with the Berlin-based universities. The city has four public research universities and more than 30 private, professional, and technical colleges (Hochschulen), offering a wide range of disciplines. A record number of 175,651 students were enrolled in the winter term of 2015/16. Among them around 18% have an international background.
